rope typology

According to the type of application, static braided ropes may be divided into:
- working (rescue) ropes
- speleo ropes
- canyoning ropes
Working (rescue) ropes
Working (rescue) ropes have been designed to allow for the belaying and movement of persons working in heights and above free chasms, including work positioning. They are massively used by rescuers.
Speleo ropes
Speleo ropes differ from the working ropes by a larger braiding ratio, which provides better protection of the rope against penetration of impurities.
Canyoning ropes
Canyoning ropes have been designed for the special free time activities, when abseiling to overcome river falls and steps in the mountains. For this reason, the canyoning ropes are fabricated from floating materials (polypropylene, polyethylene).
