Domicile:
Split, Croatia.
First climbing experience:
when I was 16 I went to our local crag Marjan and tried to top rope the easiest route :)
The toughest climb you are proud of:
there are couple of them; Mućke (8a), Tvrđava Klis (8a), Mrakan (8a), Novak Gerome (8a+).
Favourite climbing area:
Rupotine & Markezina greda in Croatia and Mišija peč in Slovenia.
Leisure time:
hanging out with friends & my boyfriend, reading, walking my dogs, skiing in the winter, cycling etc.
The reason why you go climbing:
because each day brings new experiences and every day I like it more and more. It´s a great satisfaction to see how much progress you make by training hard. I guess like in any other sport, good results are very motivating.
Training day:
I prefer climbing outdoor when I have the time or I climb in the local climbing gym.
Motivation:
climbing in new crags always motivates me a lot, especially to on sight a new route or climb a hard one in just a couple of tries.
Toughest experience in the mountains::
I didn´t have any scary or tough experiences that I can brag about.
Idol:
I don´t have any idols since many climbers climb very hard these days. It is very inspiring to see someone train really hard or climb a beautiful tough route.
Opinion on the current mountain climbing scene:
Nowadays there are many young strong climbers that are setting new standards.
Motto:
Courage is the power to let go of the familiar.
Plans for the future:
to travel more, to climb more, to get better.
Chat about myself:
The satisfaction from climbing a new route is great but it never lasts for very long so I am always pushing myself to new challenges. I can say that climbing taught me a lot about patience.
