Static 13.0 rope
Description
About the rope
TENDON Static 13.0 is a static rope with low elongation and high static strength, intended mainly for work at height and for securing people above open space. As the diameter of the rope increases, so does its strength.
A type A rope has the required minimum strength of 22 kN and is intended for activities at height and above a free drop, for example rescue, caving and similar activities.
What you'll love
Low elongation: the rope is designed with low elongation and high static strength.
High strength: a type A rope has the required minimum strength of 22 kN; as the diameter of the rope increases, so does its strength.
Tracer tape: a tracer tape runs inside the rope along its whole length, carrying the manufacturer's mark, the rope type, the standard number, the year of manufacture and the material the rope is made from.
Use
The rope is intended for activities at height and above a free drop, for example rescue, caving and similar activities.
Lifespan and inspection
Storage and use: the maximum storage time of an unused rope is up to 5 years, plus a service life of up to 10 years. The actual service life depends on how often and how hard the rope is used. External influences and mechanical loading gradually reduce the static and dynamic performance of a static rope.
Inspection: the rope must be checked at least once a year by the manufacturer or by a person authorised by the manufacturer, and the inspection must be recorded in the record card.
Check before use: the rope must be checked before every use and if there is any doubt about its safety it must be withdrawn from use immediately.
