What you'll love
Material: a combination of polyamide and polyester.
Durability and strength: excellent abrasion resistance and high strength.
Lifespan: thanks to the new construction, a longer lifespan.
Rope type and strength
Type A rope: has the required minimum strength of 22 kN and is designed for activities at height and above a drop, for example rescue, caving and similar activities.
Tracer tape: a tracer tape runs inside the rope along its whole length and carries the manufacturer's mark, the rope type, the standard number, the year of manufacture and the material the rope is made from.
Storage and lifespan
Storage: the maximum storage time for an unused rope is up to 5 years, plus a service life of up to 10 years. The actual service life depends on how often and how intensively you use it. External influences and mechanical loading gradually reduce both the static and the dynamic performance of a static rope.
Inspection and safety
Regular inspection: the rope must be inspected at least once a year by the manufacturer or by a person authorised by the manufacturer, and the inspection must be recorded on its record card.
Check before use: check the rope before every use and, if you have any doubts about its safety, take it out of service immediately.
