An edge is a rope's worst enemy. Every time it runs over a sharp transition – a parapet, a rock edge or a structure – the rope abrades and loses strength. The Tendon rope protector reliably prevents that.

A tough PVC sleeve wraps the rope at the exposed spot and takes all the friction on itself. The rope can slide freely without wearing through. The hook-and-loop closure is quick and intuitive – you can put the protector on and take it off in a few seconds, even with the rope already loaded in the system.
