The June double of our young mountaineering hopes was really worth the reward. First they headed to the cradle of European alpinism - Chamonix. There they were introduced to the secrets of glacier movement, belaying and rescue by an experienced mountain guide Radek Lienerth alias Zoban.
The second trip was much warmer and sandier - the Falcons headed to Adru. The local joints got a workout, as in addition to the eight-man Czech crew there were also partners from the UK.Tendon team slipped in as well - we brought a short but packed lecture on how to properly care for a rope to make it last more than one season. And that there was plenty to talk about - there were questions from all sides and our team dutifully answered every single question.
